Cancellation Policy

I. GENERAL CONDITIONS Finest Melodies Music School (“Music School”) offers lessons during the academic year for each registered instrument. After registration, students will receive their recurring lesson day and time. II. ATTENDANCE & TARDIES Lessons must follow the schedule to avoid disrupting other students. If a lesson is missed for a legitimate reason, the student must arrange a make-up lesson, which may not be at the regular time. a. Start Delay: If a student is more than 10 minutes late without notice, the lesson is considered cancelled. A make-up may be arranged if the reason is legitimate. b. Missed Lessons: Missed lessons may be rescheduled but are non-refundable. Parents/guardians must notify the office if removing a student after check-in. III. RULES & PROCEDURES Students must check in at the office upon arrival. It is the student’s responsibility to keep the school informed of their attendance. a. The Music School may reassign instructors if necessary. b. Parents/guardians may not interfere with lessons and must direct concerns to the director courteously. IV. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT A non-refundable payment equal to the first full month of lessons is required to secure a slot. a. Lessons are billed monthly in advance by credit card. The responsible party agrees to automatic recurring charges of $[Amount] per lesson, each lasting [Duration] minutes. Some months may include 5 lessons due to the calendar. V. TERMINATION & WITHDRAWAL Students withdrawing must provide at least two weeks’ notice. Failure to do so will result in charges for a two-week period without make-up lessons. a. The Music School may terminate a student for poor behavior, theft, vandalism, inappropriate language, disrespect, defiance, fighting, or any behavior deemed unacceptable by the director.
